New Library

A new library in Wasaga Beach will provide residents and visitors will more opportunities to connect with information, learning, technology, culture, and each other. The expanded building is going to feature special spaces that will appeal to all users. Small study rooms are perfect for students, entrepreneurs, and local social service providers. A unique digital lab set up for 3D printing, music recording, and videography will help residents develop career supporting skills. The planned learning lab will be the place to go to tinker, build, and create.

For youth, there is also a gaming zone plus booth seating where teens are welcome to just hang out. Children will have their own program room as well as an active zone where they can explore and let their imaginations run wild. The new library will also feature two gallery walls where the work of local artists will be showcased. With a bigger building, the library will be able to offer a larger collection, more programs, and a host of comfortable seating spaces where visitors can relax and enjoy the ambiance of a welcoming, thriving, community hub.
